Women's Spring Trends, 2015

Gregory Maronde

Spring is looking brighter than ever. We here in Denver are loving this two-week break from winter and celebrating an early taste of Spring Fever. It's a struggle to not pack away our heavy coats and snow boots, but as all Coloradans know, living in the Rocky Mountain region means unpredictable weather. And let's face it, winter isn't over yet! But let's give into some temptation and consider what's trending in the world of women's fashion for spring and summer of 2015.

Although Pantone's color of the year is Marsala, Yellow stole the show on the runway.

Move over Houndstooth! Gingham is this season's print du jour. Make a statement and wrap yourself in a full-on gingham dress, or break it up with separates.

One trend that's carried over from winter is the all-white look. "Winter Whites" proved its stay power and so gracefully transitioned itself into a cooler, "Head to Toe" look.

Spring and Summer brings out one very particular girl-- the festival girl! She is cool, laid back, and loves her music. Festival season is her time to shine. She embodies good vibes. This past runway season saw a number of designers taking her as a muse, just like Tommy Hilfiger did, as seen above. Printed chiffon and longer vests are on trend for her, with a touch of Rock 'N Roll glamour.
